its been awhile...today is officially tax day and i officially filed my taxes 4mins ago at exactly 11:05pm, with plenty of time to spare, a full 55min!
since my last update i have started work at the largest tanning salon in the country. i am enjoying it to some degree, my third day of working i received a $1 raise. however the fourth day drama and gossip flooded the two stores i am working at. that day was a really hard for me. things seemed to have gotten better for the time being. i had another interview this past week with a company who is opening a new store next month, they will be making decision on Monday so we will see if they offer me a position. honestly, i am hoping to working both jobs for a little while.
okay, enough about work...also since i last updated we celebrated Hai's birthday. it was a pretty lazy chill day, but one he said he wanted. the day started with the two of us going fishing. yes, fishing. it was what hai wanted to do, and i thought since we now live in texas, i might as well as act like a texan. the only fish caught that day was caught by me! (pic to come!) after fishing hai took a nap on the couch and then it was off to dinner with hai's family. we went to a sushi buffet, it wasn't really my thing, but hai loved it and it was his day. i hope what he says is true and that he had a great 24th birthday.
this past weekend sean and marcus came for a visit. friday we met up with bryan and brittani for dinner at fridays and then all played super smash brothers and tennis on the wii. it was great seeing everyone from norman and having friends over. i tagged along with the guys on saturday when they went fishing. that night sean, marcus and hai went out and i went to bed. they went to see what the night life in denton was all about.
its getting late, time to make hai's lunch! good night!

Oh my gosh, I'm pretty sure I laughed out loud spontaneously at the mental image of you fishing! I just don't really think I can picture it!! This is the girl who had "never seen a cow in real life!" :) Sorry we haven't got a chance for a phone update lately...we'll have to catch up soon. Hope you're having a fantastic day!!
